Feeling your pain. Got an indoor cactus (named it “Attacktus”…) and, apparently, didn’t give it enough light. So… Over the course of several months, it grew a conehead, trying to reach for light. And apparently it cannot be “fixed”; it it has a pointy head for life now. ~ I’ve now put it outside and told it that, apart from monthly watering, it’s on its own… :/
Haha! Oh yeah, cactuses can grow in weird shapes. I have one named Crispin that didn’t do anything for years and then one day decided to just grow in every which way, then stopped after another year or so. That one I’ve managed to keep alive (I guess?) but the one from the poem… not so much. It lived in my cubicle at work, though, so I’m not sure if it didn’t get enough sunlight or if I watered it too much, or both. Poor thing. :\ Didn’t even have a chance to name it.
