Never hesitate when it comes to ranting. Out of ranting and all the words of catharsis often comes something unexpected, something to write about. My default for blank screens is walking around, reaching my mind out to interact with any passing stimulus usually gets something going or brings me to the realization that I’m just too tired or have too much junk on the brain. Hope this helped in one way or another. Great piece :)
That’s really good advice. Sometimes I feel like I’m being whiny, but I suppose ranting IS better than just sitting in silence! Or beating your head against the desk, which is what I’m always tempted to do, haha.
